The process

Each commission starts with a conversation to get a good understanding of the request, the timeline, budget, reference photos and any other preferences regarding the project.

The process is simple:

1. First, an agreement is signed
2. Deposit is paid
3. David brings your idea to life, checking with you at each stage from sketches to final painting
4. You approve the final painting or ask for a final round of amends
5. The remaining fee is paid
6. Artwork is shipped securely in a custom wood box, with tracking.

Overall, the process for custom artworks takes 3-4 weeks from the first sketch to the final artwork leaving the studio in Birmingham, UK.

Price

Commissioned paintings are priced based on size. These are some of our popular sizes as a guide, but any other artwork sizes can be worked out.

• 48x36" - £3,200 (4,450 USD)
• 24x36" - £1,650 (2,300 USD)
• 20x24" - £950 (1,320 USD)

 

 

Shipping

UK shipping is included in the price

US & World-wide shipping is calculated based on size and destination.

 

Note: The projects have to be in line with David’s art and style to be accepted. (Simply put, no wedding pictures, pets, babies, etc.) Those are all good projects but sometimes it's wise to turn down good things to focus on what you do best -  in this case, capturing the movement and achievements of athletes.
